Stuart...

Stuart is a giraffe drawn by Lily Chivers from Octopode factory.
I have to admit I am rather obsessed with her images. With their Tim Burton-esque look they appeal very much to my craft journalling side.
Not everyone's cup of tea...but definately mine :)

I am going to enter him into The Octopode Factory Friday Challenge which the theme is Circles.

as you can see I have made a background from Versamark ink and bubble wrap. Tim Holtz Distress ink on the top.
I coloured Stuart with Promarkers (bright colours for his mohawk mane and legs) and doodled around to give it more character. To finish, I put a 'real' mini safety pin through his nose to prove he's a perfect Punk.
Hope you like him. You may have seen him on my Instagram account (lollipopdaisy) as I tend to post my work there if I don't have time to blog.
Much Love till next time xxx

  1. Love your giraffe card. Like the little images along the edges and your bubble wrap background. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comment. I hope you do get the swirl template. It is one of my favs. I just go mad making backgrounds with these templates. I posted a holiday card yesterday made with Mini harlequin. If you would like to take a peek,
