Stuart is a giraffe drawn by Lily Chivers from Octopode factory.
I have to admit I am rather obsessed with her images. With their Tim Burton-esque look they appeal very much to my craft journalling side.
Not everyone's cup of tea...but definately mine :)
I am going to enter him into The Octopode Factory Friday Challenge which the theme is Circles.
as you can see I have made a background from Versamark ink and bubble wrap. Tim Holtz Distress ink on the top.
I coloured Stuart with Promarkers (bright colours for his mohawk mane and legs) and doodled around to give it more character. To finish, I put a 'real' mini safety pin through his nose to prove he's a perfect Punk.
Hope you like him. You may have seen him on my Instagram account (lollipopdaisy) as I tend to post my work there if I don't have time to blog.
Much Love till next time xxx

Taking a break from photos...
a proper post!
I have entered this as my Design Team work on http://craftpunked.blogspot.co.uk/
The Theme was Speed Demon-any mode of Transport.
As I'm in the car and see bikes whizz past at the lights...usually when they are on red!!... I thought I would make a play on the term Speed Demon and use an old fashioned bicycle!!
I used Tim Holtz Distress pads for the distressed look. Spellbinders gear dies. The rest is bits and bobs from my altered art stash.
I used a chain to represent the chain on a bike, attached with staples and added a bee...For Bicycle. yes I was definitely in a cryptic mood when designing this card :)
Hope you like it..and understand the thinking behind it....haha!
I am going to enter it into Vintage Artisans..Now called Altered Elusions Challenge blog...Travel . So wish me luck!!...http://vintageartisans.blogspot.co.uk/
