Here it is...

So how I made it.....
Dylusions ink, used stamps I bought from QVC years ago and knew they would come in one day!,
the blood drops are Rangers res ink bottled ink, text and images from Octopode factory, coloured with Promarkers. Border free hand with black fine liner pen.

Stuart...

Stuart is a giraffe drawn by Lily Chivers from Octopode factory.
I have to admit I am rather obsessed with her images. With their Tim Burton-esque look they appeal very much to my craft journalling side.
Not everyone's cup of tea...but definately mine :)

I am going to enter him into The Octopode Factory Friday Challenge which the theme is Circles.

as you can see I have made a background from Versamark ink and bubble wrap. Tim Holtz Distress ink on the top.
I coloured Stuart with Promarkers (bright colours for his mohawk mane and legs) and doodled around to give it more character. To finish, I put a 'real' mini safety pin through his nose to prove he's a perfect Punk.
Hope you like him. You may have seen him on my Instagram account (lollipopdaisy) as I tend to post my work there if I don't have time to blog.
Much Love till next time xxx

Taking a break from photos...

a proper post!
I have entered this as my Design Team work on http://craftpunked.blogspot.co.uk/
The Theme was Speed Demon-any mode of Transport.
As I'm in the car and see bikes whizz past at the lights...usually when they are on red!!...  I thought I would make a play on the term Speed Demon and use an old fashioned bicycle!!

I used Tim Holtz Distress pads for the distressed look. Spellbinders gear dies. The rest is bits and bobs from my altered art stash.
I used a chain to represent the chain on a bike, attached with staples and added a bee...For Bicycle. yes I was definitely in a cryptic mood when designing this card :)

Hope you like it..and understand the thinking behind it....haha!

I am going to enter it into  Vintage Artisans..Now called Altered Elusions Challenge blog...Travel . So wish me luck!!...http://vintageartisans.blogspot.co.uk/

And We're off!.....

Today has been a funny old day. My OH's Birthday and I've been in bed most of the day! Dog been sick and all of us feeling lethargic. I blame the weather. How much rain can one island take? Never stopped for days now.

Well done to Serena Williams winning the tennis... Will Andy do the same?

Ok and back to crafting...
These are a few of the latest Design Team cards I made for Craft Punked.. Formally Glitter Geeks.

Hope you like them....

I'm hoping this works as posting from my iPhone. Not sure where the pics will go. Hey ho got to move with the times.
Be back soon with another set of photos.
Till then.....

WEEK 27 on the GlitterGeeks.blogspot-Let It Snow

Week 27 DT work was entitled Let It Snow and Sponsored by the lovely Nikky Hall from PolkaDoodles.

I decided to make something different-me different...never! LOL I used to have a Gorjuss Girl kit many moons ago and it was a theatre type card. I only wish I had kept one to use as a template!!!! So, I began with my ruler and knife and made my own
as you can see this template took alot of battering before I eventually got it right.

Rather than use card to make the characters stand. I used acetate and cut slits into the sides. I used Polkadoodles Christmas Boutique papers and stamps. My trusty Flexmarkers to colour and added detail with a white Sakura pen.

So, here is the card : Hope you like it :)

Alot of work, but I liked it when I had finished and decided to make one for my BFF in Finland Anna Riitta...this time I added Miss Scarlett :)

Ok, best get on, stilllllll have more Christmas cards to make as the low tack tape...wasn't that at all and ripped all the work I had done. My wrists are sore and will be happy when this batch are finished believe me.They are not perfect but will have to do as definately not making any more!
On the plus side all presents but one, are bought. I love wrapping so can't wait to get started doing that.

Thanks for reading and hope you have a hassle free week....presents, cards, tree up, shopping etc impossible I know but please try.
Love and Christmas Spirit to you all.....
